The story of Altamarea traces its roots back to 2004 in Palermo, born from the vision and deep passion for the sea of four entrepreneurs: Paolo Buccheri, Mario Volante, Giuseppe Sciortino, and Danilo Gentile. From day one, the brand has shared an inseparable bond with its territory and the essence of the sea itself, driven by a clear mission: to design and build RIBs capable of fusing bespoke elegance, effortless handling, and sheer power, perfectly balancing craftsmanship with technological innovation.
A pivotal chapter in its evolution unfolded in 2023, when Nautica Gentile—founded in 1967 by Alessandro Gentile as a storage yard and growing over the years into a nationally and internationally acclaimed benchmark—acquired the brand, establishing it as a cornerstone of the group.
Today, Altamarea continues its journey under the leadership of Danilo Gentile.
